Welcome to Us. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Us mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Us is designed to support healthy communication, emotional awareness, and daily connection between partners through features such as gratitude sharing, mood check-ins, reflections, and educational content.

Us is not a medical, mental health, or therapeutic service, and it does not provide professional advice of any kind.

 

2. No Professional or Therapeutic Advice

The App does not provide medical, psychological, mental health, legal, or relationship counseling services.

All content provided through Us, including AI-generated content, prompts, reflections, and educational material, is provided for informational and personal reflection purposes only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• The App is not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy

• You should seek qualified professionals for medical, mental health, or relationship concerns

• Any decisions or actions you take based on App content are your sole responsibility

 

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Certain features of Us use artificial intelligence to generate content, including Love Lessons, prompts, or reflections.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation

• AI outputs are not guaranteed to reflect professional standards or individualized guidance

• You use AI-generated content at your own discretion and risk

Us and its creators are not responsible for any actions, decisions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

 

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• All activity that occurs under your account

• Ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and lawful

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes

• Harass, threaten, or harm another user

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App or its systems

 

5. Relationship Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that relationships are complex and personal. Us does not control, influence, or guarantee relationship outcomes.

By using the App, you:

• Assume full responsibility for your communications and actions

• Acknowledge that emotional or relationship outcomes may vary

• Voluntarily assume all risks associated with use of the App

 

6. Third-Party Technology & Platform Disclosure

Us is built and operated using third-party technologies and platforms, including Rork, a software development and hosting platform, as well as other service providers.

You acknowledge that:

• Us does not control third-party platforms or services

• Us is not responsible for outages, bugs, data loss, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers

• Third-party services may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice

 

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Us, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, and functionality of Us, excluding user-generated content, are owned by or licensed to Us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

 

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the App.

You may stop using the App at any time.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Us and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or emotional damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Relationship outcomes

• Emotional distress

• Decisions made based on App or AI-generated content

• Technical issues or service interruptions

 

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App or its content.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
